It is important to conduct a "test machine" before using the equipment. Avoid starting it right away and instead move the worktable to the left end of the machine for air pressure adjustment. Also, clean the guide rails and check the operation before starting the test run to verify the direction of rotation.
Please ensure to constantly check the position of each component in the machine and promptly make adjustments if any incorrect positioning is identified. It is crucial to correctly replace the motor wiring and align the saw blade's distance from the worktable based on the desired depth of the comb teeth. Once the adjustments are made, securely tighten the dovetail side top wire to prevent any self-shifting of the saw blade motor during operation. The alignment of the comb tooth knife should be done according to the thickness of the comb tooth wood and the number of layers required for blade installation.
To ensure the proper functioning of the machine, it is crucial to inspect the small parts such as screws and blades. Pay close attention to these objects during inspection. If you need to adjust the blade, begin by tightening the nut on the knife shaft. For adjusting the height of the knife shaft, follow these steps: first, loosen the locking handle of the knife shaft jacket, then use the height adjustment screw to position the knife shaft at the appropriate height. After completing the adjustment, make sure to lock the handle securely. This will guarantee smooth operations and prevent any potential issues.
It is crucial to have someone supervise the operation of the machine at all times. While in use, be attentive to any noise or abnormal sounds that the machine may be emitting. If this occurs, it's important to stop the machine immediately and investigate the issue. In addition, if the motor gets too hot, it's imperative to stop operating the machine and wait for the motor to cool down before continuing use. Being vigilant and responsive during machine operation is key to maintaining equipment and preventing any accidents or damage.
During winter, it is crucial to give extra attention to the wood harvester's operation. Cold temperatures can cause severe damage to the machine. It's best to avoid extended exposure to chilly weather and, instead, implement effective insulation measures to ensure the wood harvester safely survives the winter season.
